Hi,

I have uninstall and re-install java plug-in and software through java.com for the internet browser several times where I would click on the automatic download and it would select the java plug-in and software to install on the computer. Then I have selected Sun java and deselected MS Virtual Machine in the Internet Explorer-internet option under advanced section. When I logged into my user page, the error message comes up stating "java virtual machine launcher-can not find main class program-will exit program". I need help to fix this problem. I do notknow if there is something in this PC that may be conflicting with the Sun Java plug-in and software. When I go to look at virtual tours like 3cim.com or tournow.net, I can not see the samples. It will not work. Can you help me with this problem.

Thank you,

Mark Zemnick

It *might* be due to an ad-ware called WebSavings [TopMoxie] WJView is

the commandline loader for Java WebSavings adds the entry at startup

and loads the Java Class file present in the ad-ware's folder The entry

would be present in the following registry location:

-------------------------------

[HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]

Value: "WebSavingsfromEbates"

Data: wjview /cp:p "C:\Program Files\WebSavingsfromEbates\System\Code"

Main lp: "C:\Program Files\WebSavingsfromEbates"

First, use the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs to uninstall this

adware If this does not help,

Clicking Start/Run/"regedit" and click OK.

Browse to the key:

[HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]

In the right pane, delete the value called 'WebSavingsfromEbates'

Exit the registry editor and restart Windows.

Delete the following folders and subfolders:

C:\Program Files\WebSavingsfromEbates

(Includes 3-4 subfolders]

Run Ad-Aware [download from www.lavasoftusa.com] and update it

(important) Run a full system scan.

In Internet Explorer, you will also see a context-menu item named

"WebSavings" Remove it using ToolbarCop: http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k

NOTE: If you reinstall MS Java VM, you are facilitating the adware to

run correctly.

Hope this helps Good Luck!
